Oats are my favorite.oatmeal cookies are so healthy you can have them with a glass of milk or your favorite hot beverage!
Recipe for oatmeal cookies:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup raisins or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions of Oatmeal cookies :
Step 1 :
Before doing anything the first step is to preheat the oven at 350°F (175°C).
Step 2 :
In a large mixing bowl,
Add ;
- Cream,
- Softened butter,
- Brown sugar,
- Powder sugar
Until the mixture is soft and fluffy.
Step 3:
At a time add one egg and mix well .Stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 4 :
In a separate bowl,
Whisk the
- Flour,
- Baking soda,
- Cinnamon,
- Salt.
Step 5 :
Now it's time to add the dry ingredients to the butter-sugar mixture, mix it well until they are combined.
Step 6 :
My favorite step: Stir in the oats and raisins or chocolate chips, mix until the mixture is evenly distributed .
Step 7:
Drop 1 full tablespoon of dough onto the baking sheets,
And also space them about 2 to 3 inches .
Step 8:
Finally it's time to bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until they become golden brown.
Step 9:
Allow the cookies to cool down for a few minutes, then transfer them to the serving dish .
Step 10 :
Homemade oatmeal cookies are ready . Enjoy delicious oatmeal cookies with a glass of milk or your favorite hot beverage!
Hey also add some chopped nuts, dried fruit, or anything that you like. You can also adjust the amount of sugar according to your taste buds.
